What does it take to fit 285s on my truck?

I currently have 265/70/17s on my 07 with the daystar 2.5/1.5 and spidertraxx.

My current tires rub when backing up and cutting the wheel and I need to get around to adjusting the fender liners.

How much actual work will it take to fit 285's?

Move fender liners up, trim bumper, and possible body mount chop. It'll fit but it will need some work.

What is your caster set at? Mine has the Daystar and Spidertrax as well. It started rubbing in the front of the wheel well at full crank after I put more caster in to get back within specs. I hated the look of the camber I needed in order to have proper caster. I made them set the camber at 0.0 both sides which cost me some caster. My caster is now outside of spec, but with a good toe setting and 0.0 camber, it drives good and no rubbing. Give it a try before you cut.

I run 285/50/20 in the summer months nittto 420s's with just a daystar leveling kit , no problems after trimming the front fender and moving the liner forward
