What does your scan gauge II read

I was driving today and noticed what my scan gauge was reading. It was not necessary bad numbers but not what I was expecting.

When I was looking at my TPS and wread from 13 at idle and 78 at WOT. I would expect it to be closer to 2-3 at idle and closer to 100 at WOT. What does your scan gauge read?

What resistance should the tps read if I was to check it? I start searching but haven't found it yet. And while i am at it i want to check my O2 sensor. If someone has that info handy that would be great.

Thanks

IIRC, mine reads about the same at WOT... it's normal for these trucks- it's not supposed to read out 100% for whatever reason.

Is there a lot of play in your throttle cable? That could be why you aren't getting closer to 100% on WOT. Taking the slack up improved a buddy's reading on his 3rd Gen with his Scan Gauge.

Next time I feel the urge to punch it, happens at least once a week at a minimum, I will try to remember to check my TPS read out at WOT. I recently put a "new" throttle cable on and its adjusted so we will see..

Just adjusted my throttle cable, cruise and kickdown a few weeks ago. Never realized how loose they were.

Takes a few minutes and 2 14mm wrenches and some pb blaster.
