WHAT HAPPEN if I DETACH (TAKE OFF) THE STABILIZER BAR TO THE 4RUNNER?

well I doesnt have lots of responses about my saggy left side so I ask in a shop and they told me that a good idea is take off the bar that is intended for stabilization( i doesnt know how ask this in english) they told me it can solve the problem and theres no a big difference in the driving feel, that nothing happen if I take it off from the truck..... what do you think about this friends?? should I? there are problems if I do so?

i took the rear one off it leans a tiny bit more that and i have soft lc coils it really isint that bad

That will do nothing to remedy a sagging left side. The sag is caused by coils that have lost their strength over time (since the driver and gas tank always load the car more from the driver's side).
Removing the stabilizer bar will only cause the truck to sway when cornering. that is why it is called a stabilizer or "sway" bar.
New coil springs are what you need.

Yep. New coils or maybe try to shove a spacer in there.

Research about Progressive Rate Spring for the rear

Not sure if these springs are available for 99 model, but the sway bar has no connection to the sag.

Strange thing for a shop to tell you - they're wrong. SkidPalace and Mr. Leary are right, new coils are what you need, removing the sway bar will do nothing for sag.

if anything, the sway bar is helping the sag...probaly not much at all though

jakov, if you need the part numbers for the tall 99 springs, I can post them for you.

I just ordered all new springs and shocks. My left side sags a lot too.

When I get them on, I will make before and after pictures.

the spcers are on the truck now

seems that i need to open the spacers more cause is saggin less but it still left side fallen. its true the GAS tank is there and the driver same side /maybe A MISTAKE/ well... seems my truck haz been envolved in some crashes and accidents and need some adjustments. ifound that diferential is leaking oil front suspention is moved back/ gauge stuck floater/ rear sagging. front choke cristal crashed. no alloy wheel/ motorengine is in exelent shape silent .but SADLY IM GOING TO SELL IT and search for another one... EVEN SO we all knw TOYOTA RULES ..
