what happened before your sunroof broke?

Having read all the threads about busted 4th-gen sunroofs I thanked my lucky stars that mine was working fine... until today.

I opened it and as it reached the end of its travel there was a loud clicking noise for a few seconds. So I shut it and it shut with a few more loud clicks. Since then, however, it has worked fine with no noise.

Is this painful-sounding clicking an indicator that something's about to die? I'm still under warranty but would rather have it looked at now before it breaks and the dealership has to tear my interior apart.

Mine sunroof works fine now.... however, i once had the following experience.

One day, I was closing the sunroof before I shut down the engine. However I was a bit in rush. I shut down the engine just right before the sunroof completely closed.

Then next time when i started my car and tried to open the sunroof, it lost the "automatic" open function. I needed to hold the button to keep it moving. I think it's kinda electronic jam, or something got confused.

Luckily the problem was gone later on. Just want to share to you....
