what is involved in changing out new wheels?

Looking to get some new wheels... what is involved in getting a set with these specs:
AX399178583; TEFLON BLACK; 17x8.5; 6X139.7; Hub bore: 108; Offset:-6

What can be reused from my stock TE wheels? Do I need new tpms sensors, valve stems and Lugs?

I went with ATX Ledge. I used the same TPMS. The lugs should be included with the new wheel set.

what about the valve stem? I think the lug nuts depends where you buy the wheels right? would the stock lug nuts not work?

Same valve stem, and different lugs. Stock lugs wont work. But I think it depends on the tire too.

I would call tirerack, or maybe another company, just to be safe. I am just mentioning what I did with my wheels. YMMV

can you guys verify that cooper stt's will fit on these wheels without rubbing on a stock ride height?

What size Cooper STTs?

265s .. definitely
275s .. not available
285s .. nope

ya 265/70r17 on these 8.5" wide wheel with -6 offset... i would be going out on a limb and guessing these tires actually measure a little bit bigger than stockers with street treads.

Does anyone know if pro comp 17x9 will work without rubbing on 265's or 275's?

What is the offset? I would say anything with a -10 to -12 would be best and you should be able to get a 285 on there. If the tire is the same height as the stock tire it should be fine. If it is taller you will need to make room for it by either moving the fender liners or just cutting them.

they are -6 offset with 4.75 backspace

Those should work just fine, but can you get them with a -12 or so??

I dont see them in that offset. only -6 will this be too wide for 265 STT mud terrains?

Anyways, I found these awesome looking Pro Comp's. Not the cheap black paint like I had on a set of centerlines I bought for my last truck. hopefully these pro comps are good quality. They look pretty classy and not beaner'd out like so many vehicles here in houston.
