havent been able to find a thread on mystery parts, most people post them within their own thread, thought I would start one, will see if it takes.

but in the mean time, what does this do? any input is greatly appreciated.

in Light Blue, this is hanging freely under my driver's side kick panel, there is a little rod that presses into the middle of it, circled in red. the blue arrow points to where it should be mounted.

in green, someone had cut into a wire, and then spliced it back together, not sure what for...

this ground wire was also found behind my kick panel, it was cut off, not sure what it went to.

That second photo is an aftermarket addition (not original wiring), so they might have had an alarm or some accessory that they removed quickly by just cutting the wires. Toyota uses a lot of common grounds at certain points, they don't randomly ground things on odd bolts.

Light blue is the solenoid that should keep the key in the ignition if the shifter is not in Park.

We will need more info on that wire to tell you what it is. Color, what connectors it goes to, etc.

That's meant to hook up to the flux capacitor. Very dangerous if connected, do not exceed 87 mph..

Guessing by the photo, I'd say 5 or 6mm (thread size).

Cal-Hawk Offroad light

aynone ever seen these before? found them in a local hardware store and they dont have any information about the wattage, even pulled the bulb and that was blank...

Looks like a Cal-Hawk Off-road Light to me, but I've been wrong before.

Seriously though, those cheap off-road lights are abundant. It will probably take on water in a light rain and rust to all hell on every connector. Beyond that, cheap lights tend to have terrible scatter and the reflectors like to flake and peel. Just get something quality of you're needing off-road lights. Heck, you can find solid led pods on the cheap now that will draw very little wattage and put out substantial light.

They have cheap ones on Amazon. With hundreds of reviews you can tell if they will leak. I got these ones but haven't installed them yet.
