My wife is now saying that it’s a pad from a headset, but we still do not know how it got in the front cup holder. I have a headset or sound guards for when we go shooting, but not sure it has this type of pad. Also pretty sure I’ve never had them in this vehicle. I will check them tonight.

Talked to my wife (yesterday was our 33rd anniversary, so I had to talk to her) and she used Google images to figure this out. Took a bit, but she got there. Still don’t know how it got in the vehicle.
