What mountainbikes do you guys ride?

I've got a Gary Fisher Marlin that I got in high school. Haven't ridden it much recently though, got hit by a car a few years ago and just can't make myself get back on. Just got a little banged up, didn't break anything but the feeling of it is still in my head. I tell myself every spring/summer that I need to get riding again.

Ok so I thought I would post a couple of pictures....

Race Practice, dislocated the shoulder after hit a double with a soft landing....washed out and landed shoulder first.

I used to ride LINY's bike, Now i ride an 05 Specialized FSR XC Comp, which isnt particularly stock... (also my everything bike at the moment, ive done road to downhill on it, and everything between)

I also found a 90's Cannondale M700 frame with crank, i have some other parts and am building it up this summer...

Ive got an older Specialized rockhopper comp and just got a Specialized hardrock sport from my dad. Nothin much. I work at Northstar year round but havent caught the downhill bug yet. Maybe some day. :cheers:

I have a Motobecane 600HT. The Motobecane has been a great bike for the price. Pretty nice frame, and good components out of the box.

Mountain biking has been my number one hobby for the last 7 years. The 4runner is a great way to get me and my bikes to the trail heads.

I also have downhill bike and a hardtail set up singlespeed for dirtjump and street. I need a picture of all my bikes on the runner!

They arent what they used to be years ago in the road bike world (when made it France). Now its just the name, but no other connection. Like you said though, I think its a good bike for the price. Very happy with mine, and Ive got a lot to learn before I out grow it.

Of course Id like something high end, but the ol Pecan is getting it done for now.

I like the idea:thumb3: I was looking into the 3M di noc carbon fiber tape for my frame, only problem is I would shred it off in a day.

Had a 98 Specialized FSR Comp used it for everything, got rid of it before my first deployment. Middle of second tour I bought an 03 Specialized Big Hit with White Bros triple crown forks and SRAM 9.0 shifters in 08. Great bike but someone offered me double what I paid for it and the T4R needed new tires and some other stuff. Now I am getting more and more out of shape and wish I still had a bike.

Currently riding a 2009 Specialized Stumpy 29er HT. Been riding (again) for about 15 years. The pic below is coming back from a ride a few night ago. I rode over 1000 miles of singletrack last year.
