What mountainbikes do you guys ride?

Currently I'm sporting a 2009 specialized hard rock sport. It's a nice bike but I'm getting more serious about riding and think it's about time to upgrade. This is what I'm thinking about getting. I know it's off brand but it's very light, has a good front fork and good components.

I still have the have same Trek 850 I did in grade school. Once I got my license I pretty much abonded riding it. But I know its still there if I ever need it. The bike you are looking at is called the Phantom Trail right? You could paint over the Phantom part and paint Edition after the Trail part then you will have a Trail Edition! Or just slap a T4R.ORG sticker on it!

I'm wanting to get a higher end bike but I have too many expensive hobbies. Ha ha. Oh well just like anything else, gotta work my way up. The specialized works for my riding right now but I'll def get some thing nicer down the road.

I've had a bad leg since I fell mountain biking in Oct of '09, but I have a Jamis Dakota Elite, a wrecked Jamis Dakota Comp, an old Kona completely rigid bike I use to bike the dog and an entry level Norco road bike I used to use for training.

I just got my leg operated on last month so I may get to use my bikes again this summer!

I just upgraded to a Marin bike last year and wish I would of done so years ago. Forgot what model but REI sells them and the frame is a clear coat brushed aluminum look.

1999 and 2007 Specialized Hardrock Comps. Great bikes for the average rider at a reasonable price. When it's time to upgrade it'll be another Specialized.

I have a 1991 GT Tequesta I got on my 12th Christmas from Santa! Rebuilt it a few years ago, and she still goes strong. Super heavy and super heavy duty

I have a Trek 9.8 elite Carbon Fiber frame mountain bike, a Gary Fischer Zurich Road bike, and an old Trek 8000 that I have ridden since '93. I also have a Trek 7000 that is Department issued to me for work.

I have a VP-Free too (I go back and forth between a Marz 66 and a '02 Monster T on it).

I also just bought (last fall) a '11 Specialized Enduro Comp (and I swapped out air for coil in both fork and rear shock).

Lastly, I have an old Norco hardtail which I don't really ride anymore (bad lower back).
