What the F$7k Just Happened?!?

So mine ended up not only being a cracked head. The entire engine is done, I am not entirely sure the issue, but apparently my radiator was clogged pretty heavily, and one thing lead to another. Pretty much in the end my whole engine is destroyed. I am devastated right now as I have only had it for 3 months and its done for. I REALLY wish you better luck, I am going to crawl back in my hole and remain depressed.... :ybrick::ybrick::ybrick:

And by the way, PBR, picking up that runner would be a third project. Your current one, mine and then that one.
Yeah, I need another one real bad. My wife will probably divorce me. LOL. Let me know when you get yours diagnosed and we'll figure out a day to tackle it.

Damn. Drain as much tranny fluid as you can as soon as you can.

I feel bad for you. That really sux. Even when we disagree on whatever, I still wish only the best for each of you here on the forum. On the bright side, the engine wasn't ruined.
What I would do is buy as much cheap Dex3 I could afford and in one sitting just keep running new fluid thru the transmission catching the flow as it leaves the cooler line. And even when it's clear go another 2 gallons or more. Then a final 3 gallons with your fluid of choice. Under the circumstances, I would have someone run thru the gears while the fluid is being pumed out.
Transmission flush
I've got to think you didn't really drive very far with the mixture and I wouldn't do a drain and fill either. so possiblly the transmission will be okay. Is there any way you can drain the torque converter? That's where the mixture will be toughest to purge undiluted.

Yeah, drain and fill, drain and fill. But if you can't do that in the airport parking garage, at least drain as much as you can out so it's not sitting in there while you tow it. The sooner you get that sh*t out of there, the better the chances of saving the trans.

That was more than necessary on my part; a fight with the GF earlier puts me in a less than jovial mood at the moment.
Since I started trolling YT in 07, I cannot recall one person whose A340 has lasted more than 10,000 miles after the milkshake. But if you want to give it a shot, flush, flush, and flush with about 40 qts of ATF. I would drop the pan first though.
