That would be the logical thing to do. Unfortunately, my boss/company refuses to ever close for anything. Also because I'm going to be gone Friday/Monday, I really need to go in tomorrow.

My wife's work is closed and so is just about every business/entity known to man around here other than essential services (police/fire/hospitals etc except for my company...lol).

Everything’s closed here too except for, of course, my work which blows. You should get a block heater, made a big difference this morning. I ordered another one for my 99 today and put one in my dads suburban this past weekend.
 
With the engine running take the oil cap off and cover it with a rubber glove and see if it blows up like a balloon that the best test I know of to determine if u have pressure build up in the crankcase.
 
I never had that happen but I did have a weird oil spray thing at start up during an extreme sub zero temp. I started it up and I got a quick forward spray that shot out onto pavement just past the front of the bumper. My skid was not installed at the time. I have no idea where it came from. Never happened again. Just as heat expands metal n stuff, extreme cold shrinks stuff and makes things act weird and not work properly. Maybe that's what allowed my oil to briefly escape, that's my only reasoning. I don't think anything was loose like my oil filter.
 
Just a thought, would it be easy to have like 3-4 100+ W light bulbs inside the engine bay to keep it warm?
You can check the blow-by by removing the dipstick and check rushing air. It should be the PCV.
IS the oil you are using is like 0-10W?
 
I use Valvoline max life high mileage 5w/30.

I decided to not take it to work today but I plan on messing with it when I get home to see if the new/used PCV fixed it for sure.

I'll try the glove test also to see if there is pressure in the crank case.
 
Wish I had some insight for you, OP! I have been on the road south to Missouri and Arkansas to skate around the cold, perfect opportunity to adventure with the runner. I just checked my engine, and don't see the weep on mine. Had it not been started in a while before this happened? Like someone else said, there my have been condensation leading to temporary ice somewhere. Hope you get it figured out!

Yea, I was working on my car outside this morning and it was so cold my hands cracked and bled everywhere. Honestly, I wouldn't mind a week of 50 deg weather (like last year) right now.

The engine started right up, ran completely normal and made no funny noises.

I revved it up several times (2800 rpm for 2 minutes), let it idle for about a half hour and there is zero oil coming up the tubes now.

Either the PCV was bad even though it passed the shake test, or if there was a line frozen, it un-f'ed itself.

i am going to try this on my truck this weekend. the first week it was cold in january here i drove it and it started puking out oil exactly where yours is only while running. didn't leak anywhere after I did my timing belt job and this just started.
 
I don't even trust that rattle test for the PCV anymore. I had a rear main seal leak. Valve tested fine but my good ol' mechanic buddy told me "You don't know how old that shit is, a new one is 5 bucks, just replace it and move on with life". Sure enough I bought a new one and the leak stopped.
 
A little late to the game, but I had the exact same thing happen last year while I was up in Connecticut/Rhode Island. I pulled the valve cover, replaced the 3 spark plug tube seals, valve cover gasket, new RTV on the half moons, and new bolts/washers. Same exact leak happened again on the next drive. I have a catch can installed to filter oil out of the PCV lines. What was happening is that the oil/water in the catch can was freezing, along with any moisture remaining in the hoses. I'm almost positive you're having moisture in your lines freeze, causing overpressure because the PCV can't vent. I ended up using motorcycle grip warmers and a beer koozie to make a heater for my catch can. That solved my problem.
 
I took it on an extended, 30 minute drive yesterday and there is no more oil puking out after swapping out the PCV.

I think it's safe to say that was my problem. New PCV/grommet will be here next week.

Can you share some info on this catch can? My engine is tired and I get quite a bit of oil coming through the pcv lines and making its way into the intake which pools up. I'd like a simple temp fix to keep em clear of oil till I figure out what to do with this truck.

I had a catch can on for a bit but my engine doesn't puke oil like some does. All it ended up catching for me was water vapor.
 
I use this one, attaching to the fender right behind the air box. Usually run about $25 on Amazon. I have a little oil in mine after 3000 miles but most of the time it just catches water, hence what froze Mike’s PCV/line.

But if you are having blow by, I would guess either valve stem seals or sticking rings. My brother has had great success with freeing the later on some engines by dumping a little Marvel Mystery Oil in the crankcase a couple of hundred miles before an oil change was due.
