What tires do you run in the snow?

Well we had our first bit of snow that stuck, last year I had a Tacoma and was running BF Goodrich AT KO's and, those things were awesome they just grabbed and went. When I traded in for the 4RUNNER, I replaced the dun flops with General Grabber AT2's because they looked to have about the same tread pattern as the AT KO's but were about $200 cheaper. With that being said these tires do not feel as sure footed as the AT KO's, sliding a lot on take offs and, I'm kinda wishing I would have just sprung for BFG's. With the wealth of knowledge on this forum and, after searching and not really finding a thread dedicated to this, I thought I would ask What is your favorite winter tire to run?

I prefer the Duratracs over the BFGs anyday and they do well even if you leave it in 2wd where the rearend seems to stay planted better than with BFGs.

I run nitto terra grapplers on my explorer. They handled great in the snow, I was up in the NE and Canada one year with a lot of snow and it felt like it was glued to the ground. When those large snow storms hit the DC area, the explorer handled like a dream.

I have experience with BFG MT and super swampers, they handled like garbage on the snow while playing in the WA mountains. But I think it was more the truck (f350) than the tire, way too much weight on the front.
