whats behind firewall at vent

so I want t mount something in the engine compartment ( a light) and will need to put in some sheet metal screws into firewall at the top. kind of centered, left to right, behind it would be the vent for the fresh air intake and the wiper arms come out of there
anyone know if there is anything critical behind the firewall at that point like wires or hoses
the sheet metal screws wont penetrate far
just don't want to hit anything
