As cool as it would be to get a locker on my 4Runner, I'm not a hardcore wheeler anyway. Like Brian2sun said in another thread, it would be a waste on my rig, as it see's far more pavement than trail......sorry to disapoint you guys!

That was my thought as well.....but now thinking I may just get the headlights, as I'll be taking off my 33's for the winter and running my 31's......save up during the winter and get me that spare in the Spring!!

I just got $200.00 for my Birthday, and want to put it towards some junk for my truck......the Tire and rim will be around $300.00, the Headlights I can get for around $200.00, and the Tails....not sure how much right now.........

why a procomp wheel for a spare? doesnt the standard steel wheel do well enough for a spare?

I went to Performance wheel and tire here in the Denver area and traded my spare 31" tire to them, got a used 33" mounted and balanced on my stock steel wheel for 25$.

Im sure you could find a similar deal near you, no need for a new tire and wheel for a spare... at least not for me.

Well, I don't really need the procomp wheel, but for Esthetic reasons, would like it to match my other 4.......more form than function I'm affraid.

I'm the type of person, that if I find something I like, anything else would look as good.

Besides, I'm one of the few on this board, that really like the Bling Factor, and would like to make the rear of my truck that much prettier!

No worries man, it only took me like 5 years to realize that they were fugly! lol!

I mainly put them on to hide a rock chip I got years ago. I didn't want the smoked lens covers, so I opted to paint out some clear ones......:toilet3:

I still have them sitting in my garage, might put them back on for the winter, just to protect my headlights from debri while driving down the highway.....

I do have to agree.....the truck looks MUCH better without them!

So I'm pretty sure I'm going with the new Headlights. I'm looking at some After Market ones from NAPA for $110.00 each......does this sound like a good deal?

Seriously? Is the difference really worth $220. You could get a set of PIAA's or the like for that much and I would think they would improve the look and visibility more.

I think this money is burning a hole in your pocket. Hold onto it and put more thought into it. I think you can find some better ways to spend it, for both looks and function.

EDIT: If you want to add to the look, you should do the Satoshi grill mod. You could definitely do that for $200, and that would buy you a whole new grill for it, so you could swap back if you wanted.

Thanks for your input man. I am kinda stoked to change those out, I find them to be alot nicer than my old stock ones. Besides, my passenger side lens has a chip the size of a nickel on it.

yes those are what i always go with, they are cheap because they are aftermarket. The alignment will be off so youll need to align them and some people will complain about the light output is all over the place but i have ALWAYS been satisfied with them, retro or not.

I agree. If the spare is visible, I like the looks of it matching for sure, but I also have some OCD tendencies too.

Well, I pulled the trigger on the Headlight upgrade! I'm paying $133.-- for the pair, shipped! They should be here in the next week or so! As for the spare, that will be done in the spring......
