Chrome Blackout

I removed the Roof Rack bars and took them to a local tint shop to have them wrapped in flat black vinyl. It looks very good. I blacked out the rest of the chrome with Plasti Dip and it looks great 1 year later.

A lot of folks have done plasti-dip and it seems to come out well. Plenty of pics of that and vinyl with a quick search...

I used Plasti-Dip to black out mine and spread the project out over several weekends doing a little bit at a time. It's holding up good so far after 4 or 5 months.
