Whats the Difference?

Hey Guys,
does anyone know the difference between these two magnaflow mufflers?Magnaflow 11255P Universal Muffler and Magnaflow 11255 Muffler Stainless 18X4X9 2.25 O/C. i cant find the difference between them except for the "p" on the part # and the price! of course i would like to go with the cheaper one if they are the same thing! i contacted them and they did not have a clue what i was asking i guess. Also i guess if anyone thinks i should get a different muffler for around the same price im open to suggestions!! thanks everyone!

I'd look at some of the Borla mufflers. Thats all I have used and I am always impressed with the build quality. Plus they sound great.
 
i love my Spintech muffler and yeah, Support COB! dont buy magnaflow!

If your looking for something thats gonna last, Im pretty sure this baby will survive the Apocalypse!

Hows the sound with that? I have the TRD Cat-Back and its got a stock sized muffler. It wont be long before its torn apart.
 
I like it compared to others I've heard. There is a drone at about 55 to 60, but other than that it's great! I think the silencer that comes on the TRD exhaust would make it perfect!

Yea sounds good, the first 20 seconds was fine! I have that song on my Ipod. I will definitely look into it once I bash this one up

i really like the sound! i am looking for something that is gonna last. I dont offroad that much so im not gonna be putting through hell! i am just looking something that isnt too expensive and is gonna give me a really nice and pretty loud sound! do you have a part number on the spintech?

i have been able to find many videos of 4runners with magnaflows but i think ur the only one on youtube i could find with a spintech! i just want to get my moneys worth and get something im gonna like cuz i had a friend that has and01 xterra and he bought the 14" magnaflow and can barely hear it!
 
yeah, there used to be a guy on youtube that had one on his runner and it was sick! that's what got me hooked

sorry I don't remember exactly which one i got but from the looks i'm pretty sure it's the sportsman 3000XL series, just make sure you get the right inlet/outlet size and placement. It would pretty cool to see another member rocking a spintech.
 
I don't think there's a difference between the two, but I could be wrong. I love my magnaflow, but it sucks for sure what COB went through. My friend put a Magna on his 4 cyl and he went through a lot of issues too, but he never had an issue with warranties and he eventually just got his money back and put on a Flowmaster. Maybe it's something with the 4's?
 
Well after much thought and tired of thinking about it I did go with the magnaflow.. I figured it was just time to make a decision! But COB if it ends up causing me any problems I will come to ur state or city and we can burn it together! Thanks for the help guys I will let everyone know how it turns out!
