What's the Last year of 4wd and Manual Transmission?

I'd like to buy a 4 runner but want to buy one that has 4wd and a manual transmission. Do they still make them? If not, what was the last year they made them?

Last year for manual trans was 2000. You could get any year with 4WD, though.

And I don't believe they make manual 4Runners at all anymore

I believe 2000 was also the last year for the 4 cyl. as well.

I have a 96' and is a manual with the manual 4 wheel drive stick. It's awesome and hope it outlives me. The manual transmission I joke about being my Millennial anti-theft device.

Yes; in the Trail/TRDOR/TRDP; not in the SR5.

Just to clarify for people, all 3rd gens have 4WD sticks, but what COB is saying, is that the actual 2/4WD shift rail is actuated electronically- not mechanically. The stick just shifts the hi/lo rail.

It's irritating that Toyota went to the rotary 4WD selector on everything including the Land Cruiser.

If Lexus had done this only, I would completely understand as its the luxury sibling.

No clue as to the rhyme or reason - I've seen SR5's with the J shifter and the knob.

I have a 2000 SR5 with a five speed and simple J-shift for the 4wd. 2000 was the last year for a manual transmission 4Runner. In North America, anyway. Not sure about markets abroad.
