Hi,

I've read the literature and must have missed what this button is.

If the photo is not clear it's on the drivers side dash right up against the windshield.

Thanks,

W

Huh, looks like an aftermarket headlight sensor. Do your headlights come on automatically at night?

I don't think they do...It's molded into the dash so not after market.
Coastal616 I know! I started to once but already set off the alarm and took a while to figure it out...

It feels like a button, has some play, but could be some sort of sensor...

Clueless...

Maybe it's the "Deathstar Button" and when you push it, the wheels fall off, the doors explode, and the engine seizes?

Do you have climate control in your truck?

Oh yea,

It's a 2000 LImited T4R... Don't tell me it's NOT a deathstar control thingy! I had my hopes up!

It is a light sensor for the climate control. It lets the ac unit work more efficiency during the day time.

It is the Party Mode button #2. I personally like the "Death Star" button myself.

Or in your case it instantly puts you in the costume of "Paydirt Pete".

Geez...so much for school spirit..I was scratching my head over this comment then it occurred to me...

As far as mascots go Paydirt aint half bad.

This is for the automatic headlights sensor. I used to have exactly the same sensor on my 1999 Camry. If your DLR turn on automatically, covering this sensor will switch on the headlights on full intensity.

Hmmm, got the same sensor on my '99 Limited. No DLR's

i wonder if you are both wrong or i am wrong, but lets be honest. im never wrong. its a sensor to control the automated HVAC system.

I don't know when the ass end of my 4runner ever said Camry but it is not for the DRL.

Now, the ass end of my 4runner does say Iforce V8 but that doesn't mean chit...
