If you're going to use wheel spacers, you really don't want to skimp because it adds 4 critical failure points - and one of those reviews even mentions having to get the spacers machined after delivery so that they'd fit. Yikes.

I put these spidertrax on a few months ago and they're cherry. I recommend them

If you have no idea what to look for, stick to the big brands (spidertrax, bora, and g2).

You can save some cash by looking on fleabay, but you have to be diligent about what to look for in the aluminum material/fastener strength/machining that fleabay is offering.

I've ran all the above, including fleabay ones....no problems if you know what to look for.
 
I started a thread a few weeks ago but it got merged with another one and I can't find it now. I bought a set of 4 wheel spacers off of ebay for $40 shipped to my door. If you can verify the materials of construction for the studs and nuts, there is absolutely nothing to worry about. I've been running them for 1500 miles and on some BRUTAL terrain in Nevada with no issues. Every time I remove my wheels I've checked torque and they haven't budged. Just be sure to install them properly with a torque wrench and red loctite.

I’ve had Spidertrax on my 4R for a year now. Checked torque during tire rotation and they were still solid except a lug or 2. Definitely something you don’t wanna skimp on, something to keep in mind when/if you upgrade wheels... backspacing, do away with spacers.
 
I've had spidertrax for 3 years and 75k+ miles on it and ZERO issues. But I do re-torque/check mine every other oil change as i rotate my tires every oil change.
 
Use caution

Personally (and this is just me), I'd be leery about attaching a wheel to a $20.00 spacer. If i was going to do it, I'd want a product that had a warranty that was longer than 3 months.

Have you had to retorque any lugs?

Speaking generally, I don’t know why anyone wouldn’t shell out the max $200 or so to get proven name-brand spacers. This isn’t a bug deflector or phone mount. Any kind of failure is very likely to leave a mark, and maybe a big one.
