My buddy just got a set of 285/75r16 SSRs on 16x8 Desert Crawler wheels (US Steel Wheels) delivered today. He's running the Toytec 3" Ultimate kit along with a 1" body lift on a 96 Sr5 V6 4wd Runner. The only backspacing listed on their site is 4.25" for these wheels. He went to install them today and the tire lugs rubbed the upper control arms on the front. He then went to a local shop and picked up a set of wheel spacers that were about 1/4" thick and still didn't have enough clearance. Is there a bigger spacer out there that would give him enough clearance up front?

Yes, the spacers we all speak about here would work for him, Spidertrax 1.25", that should provide the needed clearance.
I would purchase them from Jason Burtman, as he usually has them in stock and is pretty close to you.
