You want me to install it? Go buy a toggle switch, positive and negative (red and black) of 18 gauge wire, and a few crimp-on female blade connectors and I'll get you modded up!

Never having been there so I don't know but I thought I read somewhere where most don't air down there. No true? What pressure is best?

The few times I was down there, you really don't need to air down. I didn't and I probably won't this weekend. I'll bring an air compressor anyway.

I have a question for those who know...

When in 4x4 off roading like we will be hows the traction controll situation? I've never been through mud or water where you will need to be on the gas to get through. i HATE the fact that i I cant disable TC like on other cars and hate how when it kicks on it kills the power. I can see that being a real bummer trying to power through some mud

You'll most likely want traction control in the soft sand but off in the mud.

TC will help you claw out of the deep sand w/o digging yourself in but in the mud, you'll want your wheels spinning to move.

I know a few places in the PB but we also need to be careful where we drive. There are a lot of protected parts that can damage the ecosystem down there and a few sandpits that might be fun to play in but are private property and we could get tickets for being there. Most of the roads are sand roads from hard packed to sugar sand and as wide as 3 cars or narrow jeep trails still designated as a state road. Some of these roads will have some water hazards and ruts but stock trucks should be able to navigate thru easily.

Truck senses a fault in the braking system (you unplug the pressure sensor from the master cylinder) and it kills everything but ABS

All you need is an on/off toggle switch and wires

Make a bridge of sorts to interrupt the circuit when you want it off. Put the switch in the on position and it works like you've done nothing to it.

Simple as that

Are you confusing ATRAC for TRAC? Or am I confused because ATRAC in the 5th is not the same as it is in the 4th?

There is no way to disable VSC or TRAC in the 4th's? Is it automatically turned off when shifted into 4x ?

Auto off vsc (i'm not sure about atrac) when diff is locked. VSC cuts power when your wheels spin.

From what I understan (correct me if im wrong), Vsc cuts power when your trying to accelerate and wheels spin. Trac will brake wheels if you start going sideways.

With the mod i posted you can freely spin tires (donuts forever)

After further reading it seems to be the opposite of what I said, but the mod works.

I'm in!! no further explanation needed. I will love my truck 1000x more when i can finally break the tires loose in some snow or mud and do donuts!! Thats been my biggest ***** about my truck.

toggle switch and 18ga wire, female connectors and electrical tape i assume. Thats it?? autozone here i come!
