Wheelskins Steering Wheel Cover Installed

Here's how mine came out using this wrap from Amazon
The ordering process involved measuring the diameter and circumference of the wheel to get the right size wrap. It was a hella tight fit at first but once the leather stretched over the wheel it held itself in place and was easy to stitch. The kit even cones with two lengths of "thread" so you can do a baseball type stitch if you are that ambitious. I was not [emoji849][emoji23]
I installed this wrap to a wheel I bought off eBay and then swapped it into my car. I am thinking about doing a foam-repair and complete rewrap on my original wheel and swapping it back or keeping it as a spare.

That is what I bought based on the measurements of my leather wheel, idk if a rubber one may measure differently.
It was a tight fit, but it worked, obviously.
If I had to do it again I'd start the stitching at a spoke, not in the bottom middle as the instructions suggest. I tied it off and clipped the excess and don't feel it so I guess it doesn't matter.

Here's mine that I did last night. I used the Amazon link in the post above and ordered the M. $11 delivered to my door in two days- awesome. I wish they had a brown though. Mine is Tan and you can see doesn't match the rest of the wheel at all but still looks waaaay better than it did before. I used handlebar tape from the local bike shop to give the wheel more volume and fill in the gaps between the original leather. You can see the wraps under the leather but I don't mind the look of it, just wished the color matched. Overall, awesome upgrade for $11- although it did take me about 3 hours :-( Oh, and read the directions and start from the back side of the wheel. I skipped 2 holes at the spokes on the left side and 3 on the right after I realized it would look better than 2.

Tried one of those on a 2nd gen a couple years back. I can sew patches on and stuff but the Wheelskin was too much of a PITA and I gave up. Reminds me I need to follow up an a Lexus wheel and bolt that sucker on....
