Where Do You Mount Your UltraGauge?

We have a thread for the ScanGauge mounting, but none for the UltraGauge. I'm picking one up using this group buy and was wondering where and using what did you mount your UltraGauge. *OFFICIAL* UltraGauge EM 1.2 Holiday Group Buy GB (ScanGauge Alternative) - Tacoma World Forums

I'm going with the UG since it's cheaper and I like the screen better. I'm not too worried about the trans temps option not being available. Hopefully I can get my MPG's a little up using it.

Looks like a good deal. Just signed up for this one. I've been thinking about getting one of these for a long time. At $45 or so, that's a great buy.

The first place that comes to mind would be a little fiberglass work and installing it where the clock/vent is at. From the pics, you should be able to use the bracket and should still be removable.

I mounted mine on velcro right on top of the steering column. Doesn't obstruct too much of the dash and is right where I normally glance for my Tach/Speedo. I also have some velcro on the bottom of my steering column so I can relocate it to a less visible location when parking away from home.

Thanks for the links. I wasn't really planning on getting one, but for the price I might as well. I like the suction cup, but might just use Miller's idea and get some velcro.

Dammit! I wish I would have waited...

As for placement, I really like mine. Easy to see right through the wheel, and easy take off to go through the menu. I ran the wire through one of my empty spaces on the left (just cut a hole in the blank panel). I'll take a pic later.

The suction holder that comes with it works fine in the far left corner of the windshield, totally out of the way, easily readable and takes less than 5 minutes total to install.
You just need to use a sun protector in windshield in the summer which is a good thing to do anyway.

I'm thinking of trying to mount mine (when it comes I. A couple days) in the ashtray area. If it works, I'll take pics.

Mine is just like nunyabiz. But I was thinking of putting it in front of the stock clock, cuz mine is broken anyway.

I had mine mounted to the left of the steering column. Was trying to keep it out of the view of potential thieves. Right on those blank spots where buttons would be. Mounted with Velcro and kept falling off due to the heat. Not the best spot. Looking for better places to mount it.
