Where is the Flasher unit???

I bought Novita EP35 at Autozone for $12.99 to do the mod and I realized flasher had word "LED" on it. So I just plugged it in without doing the mod and it worked. I didn't have to drill out or remove sod or anything. I didn't even take it apart.
