Where to buy sliders in Canada?

Anyone know where to buy sliders (or other accessories for that matter) North of the border?

I'm looking to buy a set of Metal Tech or Bud Built sliders, but shipping is high and I'm more scared of what the customs fee or brokerage would amount to.

I'm in Northern Alberta.

Talk to Nathan or Crista at The Gear Shop in Calgary - they bring in anything you'd find on any of the 4Runners on this site.

I got my BudBuilt skids and sliders through the Gear Shop. You'll still end up paying more for shipping than if you lived in the US, but if you're willing to wait until other people order some stuff from Bud as well it'll help. Not sure if they have anything set up with MetalTech but it doesn't hurt to ask.

I just ordered a set of Budbuilt sliders and a few other goodies through the Gear Shop a couple weeks ago. Nathan was quite helpful and what they're charging to ship everything up to Edmonton for me from Calgary seems quite reasonable.

Do you guys do any sort of 'meets' at all? It'd be hard for everyone's schedules to sync up but it would be cool to link up with all of you at some point.

You might want to talk to the guys at AllPro Offroad. There manufacturing shop is in MT so it is not that far away. I'm not sure what they ship up there to you guys but if a shop dose a buy you might be able to have them ship it at the same time to cut costs. Call Ryan at the main office and see what they can do. They are all cool people over there.

Another option: my buddy that built my grill just purchased a tube bender and is going to start producing stuff as I need it. He will use my wagon for R&D, so expect sliders, front and rear bumpers, etc in the coming months. Shoot him an email with your request - he's a close pal, so I'm more than happy to let him borrow my truck for mockup if you have him build anything. [email protected]

Nope, not just tube - he will do anything and everything....he's an extremely talented fabricator. Here's a pic of a bumper he's building for his buddy's Taco - I dropped by his shop over the weekend and snapped a couple pics:

Ordered my opor's right from metaltech. Shipping was about $100 to Edmonton, but there was no waiting, and no bullsh!t. You might save a few bucks by waiting around for someone else to order something from the same supplier (a la ct4wd), but I don't like waiting. All the recent in-fighting, drama, and myopic focus on calgary were enough to turn me off ct for good though.
