Where to get door clips or pins?

The clips that secure the interior door panel to the door. Not the clips on the INSIDE of the door panel, but the ones with the push center. There is a small one on the end of the door panel and another one that is larger right under the tweeter. Mine on both sides are broke.

I would be surprised if you couldn't get them from Toyota. If you cant, find a junkyard with a 3rd gen 4runner, Usually you can find those kind of things EXTREMELY easily. :thumb3:

I just got two of these from my local dealer. I think they set me back just over one American dollar a piece.

In regards to the inside of the door, anyone know what the part number for the plastic clip that holds the metal control arm that connects the interior door handle to the locking mechanism? I can't open the door from the inside now and have to roll the window down and open the outside handle to let myself out...so ghetto

OK, this is a weird one. I get 4 listings for what looks like the correct part (Snap, Door lock control link No.2) and they vary only by color...wtf?

69759-20040 (Yellow)
69759-20050 (Brown)
69759-24010 (Natural)
69759-24020 (Blue).

toyotapartsales has them for $1.49. I have no idea what difference the color makes. This is the end of the rod by the latch. If you meant the end of the rod by the finger lever, there are only two:

69759-20060 (Gray)
69759-20070 (Green)

I guess it depends on whether you think the rod is part of the handle or part of the latch.

Oh. there is also a clamp in the middle, that's 69749-35020 (Clamp, Front door lock link). No color choices. Take it or leave it.

does anyone know what the black clip does? i pulled my door panels to replace the speakers and one fell out of each side. its a black clip kind of like a hotdog bun about an inch long maybe

I just picked one up from my local Toyota dealer (Groove Toyota, South Broadway in Englewood (Denver) Colorado). Cost - $0.00. I think they said they were listed for $1.50.

So far I have walked into that parts department twice, first for master keys and then for the pin. Both times the wallet stayed in the back pocket. Too bad they would not cut me the same deal on the brand new supercharged V6 sitting on display...

I've had the one on my passenger side door broken for 13 years now and I notice it every time someone gets into my 4runner....now, with the part number posted, I think I'll make a trip to my toyota dealer (less than 1/2 mile from my house, I can literally walk to the dealership) and pick one of these up....not sure why its taken my so long to get one....thanks for the post...!
