Which gears are best for me?

4.10's right now and I retrofitted the E-locker in.
I'm working on my welding certification and ME degree right now so it will soon in the future it will be caged with all necessary safety features. I just don't have the tools or time to do all that at the moment.
Keep in mind I do have to keep a clean driving record to keep my job at the Toyota Dealership so it's not like it's a regular occurrence to go 108mph and that is not a cruising speed either. I hit 108 and gradually smoothed back to around the speed limit (Everyone has at least gone 100 on the freeway at one point so calm down). That's the only time I've ever hit that speed, and I probably won't hit it again with 35's. Telling you that I went 108 was to give perspective on the speed capabilities to help decide on gearing.

Im not going to get in a argument about it, just be mindful of others.

I just picked up my runner and so far I'm pleased with the 4.88. I haven't had a chance to take it on the freeway to determine where my rpms are at cruising. Ideally from all the research I've done, most with 35" tires go with 4.88 or 5.29. Personally I think if you went with 4.56 it would probably be close to what you have now. 4.88 would be a little more torque. Cruising at 85 or higher might turn your rpm higher than you would like with 4.88's. There is a gearing calculator if you do a search, you can determine rpms at certain speeds and compare with what you are turning now.

Your rig is an auto and mine is a manual, so this is a bit apples to oranges, but... I love the 4.88s with the 35s. My truck had 4.10s when I got it and it was just fine around town and on the highway with stock size tires. Then I put in the 488s and ran them on stock tires and it was really bad (I know, people usually do that the other way around. I have too in the past, which is why I won't do it again). Now with the 35s, weighing 95lbs per corner mind you, it's got more oomph than stock but is still great on the highway. I'd personally be worried about revving too high, with the manual, if I were running 529s.

That said, you'll be happy after regearing no matter what. It's an absolute must imho if you run larger tires.
