Muffler wasn't bad once disconnected from the remaining exhaust, also spray the rubber hangers with WD40 to help slide them off. Rather than laying on my back under the truck trying to cut off the rusted hardware bolting it to the tailpipe (not much space to work underneath), I quickly/simply chopped off the pipe going into the muffler (which sounds like where your's broke off) with a sawzall, then ground off the hardware when the tailpipe was out. Also had to sawzall the hardware at the muffler inlet flange, though I did that earlier this year when I replaced the catalytic converters so I already had fairly new hardware that came off easily. Those rusted bolts are tough so have a few new sawzall blades handy.
I'll post the hardware specs when I get to work in a few hours, found them in one of the parts bins LOL
UPDATE - I used 10mm x 1.5 thread x 50mm long bolts, nuts, and lock washers. I believe factory Toyota nuts & bolts have a 1.25mm thread pitch, but we didn't have that thread in the bins, most important thing is the 10mm diameter. You could also use slightly shorter bolts but I wanted to play it safe.
