I wouldn't. Have them ship you a new one and tell them to package it better.

That particular one, yesThe box said made in Taiwan as well...is this the usual spot for the Denso 221-0508 Radiator?
I purchased the Denso off amazon and it arrived with the overflow nipple broken:
Can I use hi-temp adhesive to fix it? Or what can I do?
I had it shipped to a PO box in the US and I drove down to pick it up.

BUY OEM Toyota. Toyota has officially dropped the price on the radiators and now you can buy one for $119 bucks. Check Camelback Toyota Parts.
This is exactly what happened to me. I contacted the seller and got a full refund and didn't have to ship it back. I tapped the hole and put a fitting in it and it worked for a while but started to slowly weep. That denso also didn't fit quite right as mentioned in another thread recently. I had to use the brackets off the radiator to make it work. Eventually got another radiator from Camelback. Fit like a glove and well boxed.
That new price at Camelback though should settle the debate on what radiator to get as long as your not in a pinch.
The refund option shows that I still need to return the broken one - how did you not have to return it?
Is this one made in Japan?
They told me not to return it.
Ok that's lucky. I bought mine through Amazon.com and they want me to return it. I will give them a call because returning it means 2hours and a trip across the border.
Rimcrew didn't really do anything other thank spacer for the shroud and longer screws. Surprisingly it was really simple. What did you have to do?

I had to make the spacers, but I also had to elongate the holes in the core support where the bolts go through. Not a lot, but enough that I wouldn't call it a drop-in installation...
Glad yours went in more easily. I guess that's the cost of stuff made in China - specs are subject to interpretation...![]()
How are your Champion aluminum radiators holding up? I have been trying to read up a little on these vs. the Denso option. Now that it looks like most Dinso are being made in Taiwan, and the price isn't too far apart, I have been giving the Champion option a more serious look. My transmission is bypassed, but I have not replaced my radiator since I purchased it at 185K. I am sitting at 225K and feel it is time to swap a new one in there.
