IDK, but they look like they would work better offroad than the typical trail running boards. To me these look like they sit higher. I almost thought they were step-sliders as first, but the longer I looked they appeared to be just steps. I would message the guy in Youtube and see if he knows.

YEAH i messaged him no response yet, yeah thats what i like good ground clearance and theyre nice and tight against the body

In the video he mentions they came from the dealer, but I don't remember him ever mentioning which dealer. No dealer will ever put actual structural sliders without a special order because thin running boards are significantly cheaper (for them) and few people know the difference.

Going to https://www.toyota.com/configurator.../interiorcolor/LF22/packages/option32/modal/1 and "building" a TRD Pro, there is an option for running boards and the little model at the top of the screen suddenly had black running boards on it.

I noticed that all the badges on the vehicle in the video were blacked out.

For what it's worth, for the dealer price on those boards (list $650, that site at $515) you can get a set of functional structural sliders. Tight against the body for good clearance, AND they're steel so they won't be destroyed if you whack them against a tree or rock. Southern Style Offroad's are $450 after a $50 T4R.org discount. Shrockworks, Budbuilt, C4Fab, etc. all have bolt-on flat-surface sliders that work great as steps.

Your money, your truck, and your priorities. But you specifically mentioned wanting extra clearance, so that tells me you're planning on going off road. If you're in an area with the possibility of hitting rocks or trees I highly recommend skipping these and going with something designed to take a hit.
