which switches (on the door handle) are lighted at night

Which switches (on the door handles) are lighted at night?

On the driver side, only the driver window switch is visible at night. What other ones are also visible? door lock/unlock?

Got my 3rd gen used so not sure what are visible and what are not.

Mine is a 2002 and is the same as yours

so the door lock/unlock does not light up when the headlights are on? seems like there is a little bulb on the unlock side.

If it's like my 2001, which it probably is.

The drivers door window switch for the drivers door is lit, nothing else.
The passengers door window switch on the passengers door should be lit too. Until you press the window lock button.

Then the light will go out on the passengers door to tell the passenger that the window is locked. That is there way of sorta hiding the switch when the windows are locked.

No, the lock switch does not light up.

Since 2001 my '00 Limited has only lit up the driver window auto switch and the same switch on the passenger door. I've wondered about getting some switches from a wrecked runner to make them all light up and all be auto up/down. But I have a lot more stuff to install and fix before I even start thinking about that project.

I've wondered about getting some switches from a wrecked runner to make them all light up and all be auto up/down.

From what I've read on other threads about the subject, I don't think it's a plug/play situation on the other switches.
