Heres my weird $.02
I think black out makes the tires look bigger and more aggressive.
I used to run white out (12 years ago) but the letters were always getting sh*t-faced by rocks anyway.

White letters out, adds contrast...I'm a little partial though.

I think if you are going to do flat black wheels, then leaving the black lettering out will wash everything out. Flat black wheels, flat black tires, it'll just look like a dirty blob. At least the white lettering will stand out a bit and bring the eyes across the whole truck.

Thanks. Ya I like them against the machined finished wheels. But if you take a look at the two trucks I linked, the white letters against the dark wheels looks good too. Like I said, it adds some contrast som everything isn't washed out.
Wesleys Bleech-White. Best cleaner for anything white. I've used it for years on white letters, and on keeping my shoes clean. It works well on the white/light colored foam and leather on basketball/tennis shoes.

OP; excellent photoshop skills! that's exactly what I did before i made my decision. Then at the tire shop I asked to see the tire sort of mocked up near the truck before they mounted all four to make sure I was happy with the decision.
Of course its subjective but i personally agree with Millerad that if its black on a black wheel the whole wheel well from a distance just looks like a big black hole; the white letters provide contrast or substance.
As for cleaning: yes that can be an issue but it also depends on how much dirt you typically get into. Thanks also to Millerad with the tip on the Bleche-white cleaner product, i'm definitely gonna check that out but i don't go off-road too much so i haven't had to clean the white letters more than a couple times since i got my tires on.

I hate white letters being visible ..... sorry to those who prefer it but that is just how I feel.
