White & red/blue LED's - anyone know where to buy?

Hey guys I am thinking about doing some LED lights behind the front grill and in the hood scoop. First off does anyone know where I can find some relatively cheap/good LED lights? I was thinking about 1-1/2"x3" would look the best. And I'm still trying to figure out how to put them in the hood scoop. Any help would be great, thanks!

Make sure you read the reviews. Some stuff is decent and other stuff is junk - even if the items look identical on the outside.

I know it's illegal but I plan on becoming a volunteer for the FD after this next semester of college. But I really want some white LED's for behind my grill for some added light. I have seen it on some trucks and I think it looks great and it's hidden.

Having illegal lighting on your truck is no way to become a firefighter (if you get caught with the lights). A lot of departments are getting away from their members having emergency lights on their POVs too.


Are you wanting fog light type LEDs or what? That would be cool behind the grill.

No our department allows them and our sheriffs don't mind it. This is specifically for the county and for emergency lighting during wrecks. But yes I do want some type of LED fogs. Basically like the huge $800 light bar that you can buy for the top. But I'm looking for smaller spot LED's behind the grill!!

Man I'm jealous, we can't have them on my department but we are a paid department though. Our officers (lieutenant and above) can have them though.

Led fogs behind the grill would be badass.

Hey thanks for the responses guys, i'll look into all of those. I was wondering if
I should also put the Satoshi material behind the grill. I want to keep the grill like it is with the bars running across, but I think if I did the mesh material it would look good with the lights and all. What do you guys think?
