Who is running BFG AT/KO's on their 03 and up 4runners?

Your right I am seeing more and more people with them. Most say they fit fine. I thought I heard one guy say he had only a little rubing while backing up and his wheel to the lock. (hopefully he did not hold it there too long)
Do they fit with the mudflaps? If a few people running them can say they don't rub at all....... I may go that way also since it would be the easiest.
I don't mind you askying why at all. You may just help make me realize that the decision is much easier than I am making it to be.

Anyone have any experiance with anything besides the bfg's?
The goodyear silentarmor are about $30 cheaper per tire and have a $40 rebate on top of that.
I may just stick with the bfgs unless someone can say very good things about one of the others mentioned if I do get a 265/70/17 tire which looks like my best option at the moment.

I'm one of those. I have LT275/70R16's BFG A/Tko's on 16" T4R stock factory steel wheels (surprisingly good dealer price; part #42611-35231; cone nuts part #390942-01007; center caps from Ebay.) Not sure which model you have (16's will not fit a Sport; no brake clearance) but these fill the wheel well and there is slight interior rubbing at full lock (rarely happens; they clear the mudflaps.) They are noisier than I would have liked but you already know what they sound like. I've seen posts complaining about wet traction but I haven't had any issues (took the freezing rain crap from yesterday no problem.) They are classified as a snow tire and snow hasn't stopped me yet.
As for Revo's, I'm not a Bridgestone fan. Not saying their bad, but my gut feel is the Michelin and Goodrich casings are better built (run better; dissipate/handle heat buildup better) for the long term. FYI, Continental tires are THE worst casings. Don't buy their crap, period.

Well I got the 06 V-8 sr5 . Mosty cause I had a 5.0l In my explorer and loved the low end torque driving though the mountains.
I will say that the 4runners v-6 is pretty darn impressive and would do fine. It also cost less.
I would like to learn more about the reliablity records of these two differnt powertrains myself.

I never had a issue with them either. They performed great at everything I threw at them including snow and ice. I drove an awd explorer with 8 inches of gound clearance through 32 inches of snow no problem. I felt like a snow plow with out a plow! I did have about 500-1000 lbs of tool in the back at the time so it did help. If any of you know the town of Carbondale, CO then you probably know the area up past the resivior on upper cattle creek rd.

I'm forum challenged as far as linking back to the thread. I posted pics last year in a thread called "Bigger Tires on 2004 SR5?" (post ID #84157???) Also, I posted some in the gallery so search there under my username.

I was researching wheels, tires, sizes, prices, etc... There is a LT265/70R16D (product code #41561.) Decided to go wider and taller instead of just taller. They fit and fill the hole.

edit- you are right. Now I would like to find a Cheap set of 16" wheels that will fit. Hmm some cheap "16 inch steel wheels would be great.
The standard 16"s are 16x7 correct? Does anyone know the off set and back spacing so I can match the demensions up with the oem wheel?
