whos wants a magnaflow and gibson exhaust?

i first put on the gibson exhaust but it sounded like crap.. so i changed it to the magnaflow, still sounded like crap.. way too whimpy.. so i put the stock back on.. so does anyone wanna buy em cheap>.? i was going for the deep aggressive sound but did not find it.. maybe i should just try a exhaust tip.. my 4 runner is a V6 2005 so it could be they sound good on the V8

Your thread has barely been up 4 hours and is for local pick-up only, I wouldn't have expected any response yet. I have read 4 posts by you today about how bad these exhaust sucked, sorry you weren't happy with what they sounded like on your V6 but what exactly were you hoping for? Trying to make it sound like a domestic V8?

Are you going to post pics of your two exhaust systems??

haha...agreed. My buddy has the magnaflow on his 05 v6 and i thought it sounded decent but def sounded like a 6cyl. If u want the rumble shoulda got a v8. Even if u cut the exhaust off at the headers it probly would still sound "wussy"

(Im NOT busting on the v6 btw!...i know it still packs a punch)

Holy crap I take that back, He has a Borla. So yea i dont know how the magnaflow sounds...try the Borla

Match it with a nice CAI system and your sound will change.

I run a TRD CAI with my magnaflow on my 05 v6.

Just take the whole exhaust off and your good to go. That sound should give you all the attention you desire. :beer:

I found the Magnaflow on the V8 to be perfect in sound. It has a nice deep tone at low RPM and is fairly quiet at highway/cruising speed. It is a little raspy at WOT.
