Hello there,

I bought a 98 limited for 2200 3 months ago. Ive done brakes radiator flush, sway bar links and pcv valve and plugs and wires , waitng till next week to do valve cover gaskets. Whatndo inneed to be replacing soon. Im considering bilstein 5100 tundra spring front and emu 901 in the back. What other things should inbe replacing. Joints? Going tonbe flushing fluids soon. Feels a bit bumpy.

Riding very rough. That is why i am considering rhe struts and shocks. But for general maintenence, what else should i replace? Becoming much more interested in diy and cars since getting this runner. Just want to keeo everything workable and in good shape. Would u joints or lower ball joint be a bad idea? Just trying to get everyones opinion on what to look for and replace at 220k.

I just realized that last commment about bumpy was after the fluids.. just misplaced haha sorry.

If the LBJs have never been replaced at that mileage, I would consider replacing them a must. OEM is the way to go and not really that much more expensive if you buy them online somewhere. If it's an auto trans, I would replace the radiator to avoid the "pink milkshake" and maybe put an external trans cooler in it. If there's any rust, start tackling that also.

What about control arms and other things of th at nature. If anything besides the lbj fails isnit extremely dangerous?
