I really love my 4Runner. I have had my '15 LE for three weeks now and love every time I get in it to drive. I find myself running senseless errands to drive it.

. If there is one thing, it would be the lack of a V8 option for me. We had a 2007 LE V8 that had over 200k miles on it and it was awesome. Our new one has a third row now with the two kiddies just in case. As I think about the engine in the '15, it isn't that bad. Yes, it could use more torque and power but I haven't had any issue with it. Our other car is a 2013 BMW X5 5.0 with the m-performance package which gave it a little more HP than the other 5.0's and torque so it has 455 HP and 425 torque or so. Yes, I love that power but there is something about the 4Runner that gives me comfort and confidence. Not that I am not confident in the X5 but it is just different. I love both cars for different reasons. If Toyota releases a V8 in the next gen release I will trade our '15 4Runner in for it. I am not expecting that to happen so I will be keeping this one for a long time.
