Hi Guys!

I am new here... and I HATE to start by potentially making waves.... but why no 2018 4Runner sub cat in the 5th gen T4Rs forum?

Is the 2017 EXACTLY the same as the 2018... or just no love for the 2018?

Or should I just shut up! :)

Anyway, super happy to ahve found this place, and I hope to learn a lot. My 2018 is my first 4Runner, but not my first Toy (wife has 2 Camrys) or my first SUV (Had a Jeep GC)...

There haven't been any "significant" changes since 2010. Therefore, it's all lumped into one category, 5th Gen.

Welcome!

Same reason there is no 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, or 2017 sub forums.

What are these??? I assumed they are sub groups....

And considering it's only 4 days into 2018.

I know, the 2018's came out in the Fall...
but really, what's the hurry?
Putting up a 2018 link will only take you to the same place as the other 5th gen's.

2018 has the deframbulator configured to an azimuth value of 212.5 degrees, that constitutes a paradigm shift of a full 10 degrees off the 2017 base value as specified by chief engineer Gendo Ikari.

You don't feel it until the VTEC kicks in.

But, with that configuration...is the expected lifetime of the canuter valve the same?

The question we should be asking is why are the years in reverse order when the other gens are listed in chronological order?

"Does that make sense to you?"

Don't forget the flux capacitor which is needed for this 2108 page!
