Why not 255/85/16?

I'm all for tall and skinny too.
I was going to go with the KM2's in 255, but went Treadwright. It'll still be on my list come time to buy new tires again.
The only thing is I find offset more critical. You'll need to match them up with the side of your vehicle (find with SR5's) but with Limited flares and stock wheels they will need spacers to "look" good.

No...the 255's do better on rocks and other rugged terrain, a proven fact
If you like mud then get some 285/75 Thornbirds
For me its function over form for the most part, but I am not a mall crawler.
It boils down to do what you want; and I want to do what works, and is the most logical

Nope! Went with the 285's. Thing is they look narrower and are taller then most 33's. They are somewhere between 285s and 255's, but I think they are as tall as 255's, or close to it.
I measured them on the vehicle with 35PSI and they are 33". Considering tire squish they must be 33.5's at least I would think off the vehicle.

Have you ever wondered why all or most all of the pro teams, that have access to "any" tire, run wider tires ?
