Will 285/70-r17 Fit? In the Back of my truck ;-)

Totally dropping the will it fit tire question! :madgrin:

I have been waiting ages to wear out my current set and by a bigger tire. I got tired of waiting and ordered a set of MT/Rs on sale and having them mounted on a second set of trail wheels I picked up a few years ago.

My question has anyone stuffed four of these (or similar) in the back of their 4runner?

It should you will have to put the back seat down maybe but one way or another it will. I put 4 285 75 16's in the back of my Xterra and they was a ton of room.
 
Also post some pics once you get them mounted I have always wanted the MYr's but never found a lot of reviews.
 
Thanks, Yeah I figured the seat to go down. Curiosity is like getting the fourth tire in. Usually I am really good spatially and for whatever reason I think they'll fit I just thought I'd ask.

I figure if it doesn't fit a sheet of 4x8 osb/ply it won't fit anything, hence the question :D

Brother-in-laws got a trailer, its is just never easy, he's always got it full of sh!t.

No pics but sold my raptor rims from my old ford - 315/70/17 and stacked 2 onto each other in different corners of the rear. they fit fine only realized the stock springs suck. just over 400 lbs and drove nose high on stock suspension
 
I don't have a third row and four mounted 285s fit in the back with the second row folded.

I recommend wearing gloves when loading them in, lots of opportunities to smash your fingers.
 
They fit fine without putting the 2nd-row seats down.
