Will the t1814 plug and play like the other t18XXs?

I have an 05 Sport Edition NON JBL and NON RDS with the stock head unit. I am looking to install the Scion t1814 HU and replace all the speakers because I think my current sound sucks. Does anyone know if the t1814 will plug and play like all the other t18XX head units?

Yes it will. Do yourself a favor and get a real HU. It will make your stock speakers sound way better.

It doesnt have to be a Nav screen but there are some nice DD decks.

Do you know what the differences are between the t1809 and t1814 besides new look?

Do you know what iPhone cable it needs?

Thanks, yeah I have read all those. I found out the t1814 and the PT546-21062 cable will work, however it seems some iPhone/iPods do not work with it. I am trying to find someone that has the t1814 and are using their iPhone/iPod, that way I can figure out if my 3GS will work. Some people with older version iPhone/iPods are getting an error message when plugging their iPhone/iPods in. I dont want to buy everything and then my iPhone not work.

u may need something like this> iCarKits - PODTOYV1 for the 2004 SCION XB. it may be worth a try & call them up , tell em what u want to do & will this work 4 the t1814. gotta say tho, for the price of the scion unit + this if needed, IMO, its better to just buy a better hu with the capabilites u need/want. goodluck

I know the t1814 will work with the cable, I am just not sure if my iPhone 3GS will give me the error message that says something like "This accesory or device is not compatable with this version of the iPhone..." when I plug it in
