Being how you didn't specify any names in your post we had no idea of knowing who you were talking about. The way it looked you were talking about the the comment directly above yours.

The OP quoted the Spambot a couple times.

After he quoted the Spambot for the second time in a row, I thought the OP might appreciate knowing he was answering a Spambot. So he wouldn't waste his time on a spambot.

Shortly afterward the Spambot was removed.

If you had paid more attention, you would have noticed that "niujj" had been removed.

Now I'm wasting my time explaining this.

Looks like things are coming along very nicely even if it's not to the schedule you'd like to keep. Some distractions are totally worth it and as for the wallet....yeah....wish I didn't understand that one! Love the pics, shows some nice work and cute furry points of interest.

Rather than making a condescending post calling another member out in the first place, and then again two more times when your error is pointed out, there is a good lesson to be learned here.

That being: Make sure you know what you are talking about, before you post. Lest you make false accusations against someone else.

When I read "there is a good lesson to be learned here" my first thought was: "Lick it before you stick it".

My second thought was why are you both going on and getting your panty's in a bunch over this. Hell, read some of my off topic posts and you will have some great posts that can to use on me.

However, when wrongly accused of something, I will set the record straight.

If Mtsudt had said: "Whoops, sorry for the misunderstanding" or words to that effect, it would've ended there. No harm, no foul.

Instead, he chose to continue the condescending route.

If there is one thing I can't stand, it's someone that falsely accuses someone else. And then when shown the error of their ways, can't admit it and keeps up their condescending tone.

Just now came across this thread. So glad you are getting this beauty on the road. The interior is night and day from when you first got it back. I was looking at those pictures thinking, "Who in the workd could stand to drive around in this?" Nice job.

I never accused you of anything. Based on the statements I saw with no direct quoting of the "spammer" there was zero way to tell who you were directly talking about. Based on the information on this thread I was lead to conclude with my statement, which is all fairness was incorrect. I apologize for that.

There was only 1 condescending comment made so don't make it out to be more then that. Rather than letting it go you continue to post after the fact dropping my name when everybody already knew who you were talking about. Saying that I kept up my condescending tone with only 1 comment was a stretch of thruth! So let's both not make false accusations anymore, and move on.

Based on the information on this thread I was lead to conclude with my statement, which is all fairness was incorrect. I apologize for that.

I replied to him after he quoted the spambot twice. The fact that the spambot was removed, and it's posts no longer existed, (other than in the OP's quotes) was a decent indication who/what I was referring to.

I replied to set the record straight. Nothing more. I probably could've been friendlier in my replies.

Implying that you made a mistake was not being condescending though. Continuing down a condescending route implies the multiple condescending comments were, and they were not.

I personal don't think your comments were in anyway unfriendly. Or at least not compared to some of the comments on this forum. You didn't even have any of these ****ing asterisks in your comments. Member to member, I'm sorry for implying you made a mistake. It was an oversight on my part for not looking back one page, and jumping to conclusions.

Ok, so we good now...lets sit back and share a beer together cross country.

I do have to add this. Its a forum. Forums are kind of one dimensional communication. Its difficult to see, or feel, mood, intonation or emotion.

It has been an interesting exchange and if nothing else it reminded me, not to let the little forum issues get under my skin and loose control. Sometimes we all need to vent, and let the steam off, the question is are we able to smile about it later and go on, even if we are on the receiving end of the steam.

Well, all you have to do is look at my pic, and you can guess that I can laugh at myself. In fact, I do every morning when I look in the mirror, pick up razor, and then say, "ah **** it, why bother"...

I don't know either of you, but from the posts I have read, here and else where by you two, and your passion, I would probably enjoy meeting you.

My wife an I hiked the Appalachian Trail this past year, and I swore I wasn't going to shave my beard for the entire 2200 miles. I think I made it about 1300 miles before I shaved it off, and I still regret doing it. Looking back at the pictures makes me sad. In about 18 months I'll start at it again when we leave again. Hopefully this time around I'll keep it a bit longer.

Epic hikes deserve picture on the off topic thread...I hiked most of it in my youth, in sections, but never had the time to do the whole walk.

Katahdin was a very nice way to end the trail. We were the only NOBO hikers to finish that day, and only saw another dozen or so hikers that day. We did finish very early on (July 9th) since most hikers were finishing in September.

Started early to beat the crowd. We started around the 1st of the year, and about 30 days off the trail. I there were around 12-15 people that started around the same time, and we were the only ones to finish from the winter starters.

Wow, wow, not only walked the trail, but a winter walk...that's an accomplishment very few people complete...impressive.

I have the bumper mounted and the new winch in, but not roped and wired yet.

Not sure I like the turn signal choice, so I may change them out.

Baja rook rack ships on the 1st of April...feel like I kind of got screwed on the group buy deal the savings are not worth the wait, but its to late now...

Savage rear bumper and skids arrive about the same time, so I guess no wheeling and camping until March...
