So first things first I'll give you some info because I can't figure out how to put a signature on my posts so you know what I'm up to.
I have 5100's on all four corners - Fronts at 1.85" and air bags in the back which help keep the back up with no sag.
I also just got some BFG KM2's 285/70/17. Minor rubbing on front drivers side at full lock turning right. Moved the front fenders forward etc with no other issues. Only is a problem when I'm backing up.
I have had some weird wind noise for a long time and I finally narrowed it down to a couple things. One - there is a squeaking noise coming from my centre roof console on my trail edition. It feels very solid, but maybe the wiring harness is lose or something. Anyone who's taken it apart would know. I can't find anything that feels lose, nor can I really track down the sound. Its hard to do while driving.
The other sound I've found is coming from the inside the front wheel wells. Check out the pic. Has anyone else had these things ratting around and making crazy amounts of noise. I did get my truck undercoated by the dealer and they may have sprayed them which has given them added weight, but they are lose and the rattling and flapping is driving me nuts. Can you remove these guys? are they really all that important?
