Yeah...I use the 20% you see there.
it is just not dark enough for my taste.

Very good quality though.

Have you used this before ambush or just putting it up for informational purposes? That's pretty cheap. I've never tinted before though.

The shop had to cancel my appointment so I may make some more calls since everyone thinks $110 is pretty spendy. I did find one place for $90 but the guy on the phone seemed kind like a punk telling me it was illegal and how I would definitely get pulled over. A very negative tone in his voice...crabby. I think the midwest just doesn't have enough competition in the market.

TN4R I would love 5% but don't think cops would let that fly...I am jealous...

Window tinting

Is almost like trial and error but mostly attention to detail.

I figured 10+ yrs ago, why pay someone $XX dollars to do something yourself.

Just go to some tint shops and ask a bunch of questions like if you were going to get your car done. See if they have their bays open to watch.

EZ!! Now since the internet is so broad, just google window tinting videos!

Just practice. Go to like walmart or AZ and get a box. get a fine RAZOR, lint free cloths, window cleaner (AMMONIA FREE!!), ivory soap and distilled water (1 gal $.90 at Wallyworld) and last but not least, heat gun or hair dryer

Water + Ivory = mix soapy solution

Dont get me wrong 5% looks sooo good but i hate cops who give u a $400 ticket and when you get to court they throw it out after you remove it.
