I would however buy a Tesla
lol, I saw a young blonde girl in a Model S yesterday.
Got a little jelly for sure.
I would however buy a Tesla
As the amount gets higher, figured I would bump this old thread....I think I would add one of these to my stable if I won
http://rallyfighter.com/
What will you do to your 4Runner then?
I would make one of the replica porsches they used to rally race in the 80s.I'd get a Singer 911...
Hell, with that kind of money, maybe have another kid.
Real original............................I'd be lieing if I said I was going to do nice things for other people, so I'm gonna spend it all on hookers and blow
Wonder how long I could last on just Hookers and cocaine.
I quite disappointed no one has mentioned hookers. Lots of them.
But seriously, I would get my 4th gen completely restored and back into showroom condition and find someone who can stuff a Toyota 5.7 V8 in it. Then I wouldn't need the hookers......... i mean.........."cough"........... V8!!!!!
t makes me wonder how much you think kids cost?
A bit more than $400,000 before college if you send them to private school.
Real original............................
I'd throw stupid money at my 3rd gen, make it unstoppable, and travel the world in it for however long I feel. Similar to this guy.
Gunther, Christine and Otto
It's a kinda long read, but really cool.
Then I'd invest the rest in a safe manner and do as I please for the rest of my life. No need for a huge house on top of the mountain just to show everyone that I have more money than them. And buy a bunch of cars that I'd like to own one day.
Understandable the standard of living out in CO is higher, but i didn't realize it was that high. private h.s here is 8k a year with middle and elementary being a little cheaper. But Fair enough.Private school costs between 17k and 21k per year here. So, 12 years of that.. yeah.
The same article you posted says that higher income families spend close to 400k and the actual study acknowledges that education costs were under-reported and that private school would increase the annual cost of raising a child.
So yeah. I'd say 400k.
Are you saying that if you had money to burn you wouldn't burn it on your kids education?
Keep in mind this is theoretical based on winning 270 million dollars.
But for real world...
My kid turns 1 on Saturday - the pre-school he'll start in a few months costs $291 week - roughly $15k per year. I have a friend in CHI that spends twice that.
I will be very happy when my boy can start public pre-K for free.![]()
