Wiring Halos and Turn Signals separately

Hey all. Have a question as a fairy new 4Runner owner. I am building my old '03 with my son as it will be his first vehicle. Want it to be a TANK! Haha.

Anyway, he wants to add halos to the '06 headlight swap we are in process of doing.

Question: I want to wire the Halos as DRLs while having the existing DRLs act as turn signals. I am thinking there might be a way to do it using relays but I have no idea how/if it can be done.

Does anyone know how to do this?

I'm about to do this with 03 headlights but the DLR are down in the bumper and the light in the headlight is a parking light in my version. I'll be wiring up switchbacks so DLR are white and the blinker will be amber and make the parking light blink. I'm going to do it with some relays and capacitors etc. I should create a write up when done.
