This. Opened the box and that was probably the nicest packaging job on any car mod I've ever ordered. Now I just need to order an extinguisher.

It'll truly depend on the actual fire extinguisher you're mounting.

What do you mean? My TEK mounts requires removing some material on the lip of the mats, my H3R band mounts didn't require any trimming.
Again it depends on the floor mat and the actual fire extinguisher bracket once mounted to the seat mount.

Ok, I was speaking of weather techs..so some trimming might be in order depending...

I only had weathertechs, I worked under the assumption of factory floormats, both fabric and rubber. If you get the standard band mounts it shouldn't require cutting. I'll post a photo of what I had to cut for my TEK208 mounts.

I know its similar to a previous member's pic, but just wanted to share cause its probably the best mod/addition I've done in a long while. I mean King's are sexy as hell, but they won't save me if my butt's on fire!

I just installed mine last night and love it. It's a great simple addition that a lot of people never think about. I needed to have an extinguisher for the Appalachian Toyota Round-Up later this year and now I have one at an arm's reach should a bad situation ever arise. I took your recommendation and ordered an H3R as well. Thanks for spearheading it! Very happy.

My mount arrived a few days ago. Installed this morning. Total time was about 45 minutes including cutting the weathertec floor mat to accommodate the mount and extinguisher. I used Lexan scissors to cut away pieces of the floor mat which were in the way of the mount. I also had to cut out the part of the floor mat directly under the extinguisher nozzle for clearance. Overall I'm very happy with the mount, it seems solid and professional.
