Thanks! I've since sold the FJ Coils. I will be swapping out the rear 5100's in the next few months for some Icon 2.0 VS shocks but the front will most likely stay with the OME 885's and 5100's until I find a good deal on some coilovers.

I really debated between doing all four or just the rear and figured I might as well get all of it taken care of since I'll have the front apart for the UCA's anyway. It was about 40$ more and the swap was pretty straight forward. Dropping the spare in the rear made a world of difference since I could actually sit under the truck. I'm glad I did it since it's just one less important thing to be worried about breaking.

Got some work done over the holiday on my rear deck platform. I had pulled out the factory shelf platform a few months before because I just wasn't using it as much and I wanted to set it with a solid flat base to double as a sleeping platform when I go camping. When you remove the factory shelf you are left with a large gap behind the rear seats that looks like crap and can make it very uncomfortable to lay a sleeping bag across. I had seen a few builds where people had made a platform from wood and used the existing tie down points to anchor it so I went with that route.
I started out with a sheet of 1/2" MDF. I prefer to use MDF instead of plywood because when it comes to making contour cuts plywood can tend to splinter and chip with the grain whereas MDF will leave you with a nice smooth cut.
I made a template with some cardboard and got to cutting and ended up with a really nice fitment leaving about an eighth of an inch of room for when I decided what material I wanted to cover it with.
Once I had all my anchor points drilled out and did a dry test fit it was time to decide what I wanted to cover it with. Since this area is mainly my dogs space when we are traveling I wanted to make sure that what ever I covered it in would give him some nice grip for when he's standing but also something that could handle water and sand and dirt when I take him to the beach. I ended up settling with herculiner bed liner. It's waterproof and has a very nice texture to it that will give him the grip he need and it will stand up to almost anything.

Final fitment:
Now I have a nice durable platform in the rear cargo area and its completely flat when the rear seats are laid down to accommodate sleeping bags/foam mattresses.

Thanks. I'm really happy with them so far. The bellows are hardly touching at the normal ride height and could probably handle more lift if I wanted to. I'm really confident in them after being able to inspect them close up. I'll try to get some more pictures up later this week.
Going to be a busy weekend. Finally picked up a Porter-Cable. And I'm still not sure what my plan is with the headlights yet. Can't decide if I want to build these or refurbish and build the OEM's.
I have that exact Porter Cable. I used it last summer to sand down the whole outside of an old farmhouse....Yes..you read that correctly and yes it SUCKED!!! Sander was badass though! I spent $380 in sandpaper...ugh

Had a busy weekend. Installed the new headlights, put in new brake pads, replaced my body mount bolts with extended ones in the rear, swapped all the interior lighting with LED panels and did the dome light mod. Also just wrapped up a full detail and polish so I figured I would take some updated pictures since its been a while.

Another productive weekend. Put in the new Icon Shocks in the rear and just finished up changing out the spark plugs for NGK Iridium IX's. I absolutely love the way the new shocks feel. These being my first experience with a reservoir shock I didn't know what to expect but the difference is extremely noticeable. Now I realllyy need to pick up some coilovers.
