started on the rear a few days ago. i thought it was going to be easier but these d#$m tubes with 3 bends, rotation, and a compound mitered cut on the end, WTF!!! i need better tools! i wish i was happy with blocky styling and 90 degree bends and joints, custom tube work is exhausting but i'm liking how it looks. all thats left are braces on the side wings and tidying things up. i'll be using the mesh again on the sides and putting a piece of plate to fill the gap in between the bumper and the body of the truck.

Lol, that's my other baby! It's a kz build, 1000 motor in a 750 frame (see-shoehorn) chopped to hell and back. I have some pictures on my Facebook page of the build, it was fun but I'm glad its done.

rear is done. i decided to nix the fill plate on top idea since i just didnt feel like cutting the plate lol, and its not that big of a deal to me. also went ahead and put plate in the wings instead of mesh, not really sure why but i like it. i also added a cb antenna mount and a set-screw for the hitch receiver since i HATE the little bit of slop they all have and the noise that comes from it.

Please let me know if there is anything you can't do with tube and a welder? Bumper looks so sick! Are we going to be treated to a custom set of sliders aswell? I mean your on a roll haha!

Wow Josh I really like this rear bumper. Nice use of rounded tube bends vs. the traditional more "square" look.

I just sold my 82 KZ750, needed rings but I could only find them through WISECO and they were just too damned expensive. And I agree, my eyes keep wandering over the bike, it looks sweet!

Ha! Mine was/is an 82 750. My motor needed rings too but I decided to take a chance on a 1000 motor on eBay and make it fit.
