Woke up yesterday morning and said I'm going to make a cargo box.

Went over to home Depot yesterday. Bought one set of 24" ball bearing self closing sliders. Some wood. Sat there for 15 minutes and came up with this.

Then...

I was going to leave it all natural. As I walked over to my water cooler there it was a roll of grey carpet. It said use me. Lol

Took that same carpet and lined it inside. This would dampen the nose from the recovery gear inside the box. Also made a divider to keep the gear I rarely use, snatch block, tow straps, gloves, first aid kit, and emergency food/water. In the front I have more used equipment and my tool box.

Forgot to take a picture of the rear all cleared out. I'll take it later.

Spent $155 at home Depot them returned $45 of extra wood. So this project cost me around $125 including the carpet and spray glue.

Bolted it thru the side panels along the bottom. Box is heavy. Is not going anywhere

That's awesome, I like how you incorporated under the shelf, I always wanted to do that when I had the shelf, my new truck doesn't have one
